About Us

What is Dance Marathon?

“Miracle Network Dance Marathon is a movement benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for more than 170 pediatric hospitals across North America. We are the only children’s charity committed to having 100% of the funds raised stay local to support local kids.

Since inception, Miracle Network Dance Marathon has raised more than $200 million for kids across North America- ensuring that no child or family fights pediatric illness or injury alone.” (Miracle Network Dance Marathon.)

What are you doing at Western?

Dance Marathon at WMU will be hosting a 12 hour dance-a-thon event on March 30th, 2019, here at the WMU Recreation Center, where we stay on our feet and “dance for those who can’t.”  This event is open to everyone. There is a $15 registration fee that goes towards a shirt, food, and activities at the event. Dancers register as teams and fundraise starting the day they sign up to the day of the event.  All money raised will go directly to our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
